Healing The Heart:

From Burnout To Breakthrough

Calling All Healthcare Workers!

You Are Invited To Reset With Us.

As healthcare workers, we show up and take care of others every single day—often to the point of exhaustion. Our profession can be difficult, and the pain we observe in others and feel ourselves, is overwhelming. To make it hurt less, we learn to stop feeling—we stop feeling our emotions, we shut down our bodies, and we protect our hearts—all in an effort to numb the pain. This survival response enables us to endure some of life's most painful moments. It also wounds our spirit. These past 18 months have especially taken a toll on our industry.

We invite you to join us in bringing your attention back to yourself for a day; focusing on your own body, mind, spirit and heart. On Saturday, December 11th, we will learn bio hacks for how to reset your nervous system; how to let go of all the constructs, concepts, and relationships that are draining the life out of you; and bring your attention back to our greatest source of clarity and fulfillment: our own hearts. Together, we will share our hearts, our breath, and our intent through recapitulation and medicine bag practice.

From 10am - 8pm, we will gather at Wild Heart Meditation Center for a one-day retreat filled with music, creative expression, breathwork, intentional reflection, nourishing food, and community. Join us and other heart-centered souls to heal and create a community that will lighten the heavy energy, sadness, and fear we’ve taken on as part of our role as caregivers.

You Deserve This.

At the core of everything I do in therapy is the belief that true healing happens through empowerment and love, not fear. Therapy encompasses a bit of art, science, intuition, and loving kindness. What works in therapy is a real person connecting to a real person and I believe the best therapists are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see. My approach is based on a model of healing and empowerment to help you reconnect with that whole, thoughtful, creative, fearless human being you are and to trust your inner wisdom.

Heather is an integrative psychotherapist who specializes in the healing of relational trauma. Through her extensive training and work in clinical and experiential modalities, Heather guides clients through a holistic and transformative process. Heather’s approach to helping people is creative, open and flexible as she understands that just as the context of trauma is individual so is the process of healing. Heather is a certified Kundalini yoga teacher as well as a student of Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing training both of which have given her a deep understanding of the body and how trauma is held in and released through it.

Lee McCormick has founded three paradigm shifting mental health/addictions treatment programs over the last 25 years. Beginning with The Ranch in Tennessee to The Canyon in Malibu California, The Alta Mira in Sausalito and the Integrative Life Center in Nashville, Mccormick brought an open minded, respectful, creative, healing focus to the treatment experience. He adheres to the phrase that we are all “Artists of the Spirit” and our life is the canvas we express our art through.

We Hope To See You There!
